My Approach
My approach is grounded in evidence, empathy, and real-life experience. I believe that health is shaped not just by what we know, but by what we feel capable of doing, especially when living with long-term conditions or juggling the realities of everyday life.

I don’t believe in quick fixes, rigid rules, or one-size-fits-all advice. Instead, I focus on helping people understand the patterns behind their appetite, movement, decisions and emotions. When we understand our behaviours, change feels less overwhelming and more achievable.

Kindness is at the centre of everything I share. People often carry guilt, shame or pressure when it comes to their health, especially with conditions like Type 2 Diabetes, Obesity or Hypertension. I believe support should reduce that weight, not add to it.

You’ll see this philosophy reflected across Applied Health Lab: in the way research is translated, in the tone of every article, and in the tools designed to help you reflect without judgement.

My aim is to offer guidance that feels realistic, compassionate and genuinely helpful, whether you’re learning, exploring, or preparing for future personalised support.
